Becoming a mum changes everything – including how you feel in your body. That’s why, at Fit&Ness, we’ve created a range of friendly, supportive classes designed especially for new mums who want to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident. Our classes aren’t about pressure or “bouncing back”. They’re about helping you move forward in a safe, supportive environment, with your baby by your side as your little sidekick. 👶💜 We keep our Buggy Boot Camp and LBT classes small, ensuring every mum receives the support and guidance she needs, whether you’re just getting started or ready to build strength and fitness at your own pace.
Something for Mum – with Baby as the Sidekick Every class at Fit&Ness is designed with one goal in mind: helping mums feel stronger, happier, and more confident. Your baby is always welcome as your little sidekick, but these sessions are all about giving you time to focus on yourself in a friendly, supportive, and judgement-free environment.

Step 1 – Start with Buggy Fitness (FREE)
If you’re just beginning your post-natal journey, Buggy Fitness at Saltwell Park is the perfect starting point. It’s gentle, relaxed, and outdoors – helping you build confidence while improving both physical and mental wellbeing.

Step 2 – Feel Strong with LBT (Legs, Bums & Tums)
When you’re ready to focus more on toning and strengthening, our LBT class is designed to help you feel strong, confident, and proud of what your body can do. It’s still welcoming and supportive, with a little more focus on building strength, fitness, and overall wellbeing.

Step 3 – Build Whole-Body Strength with Buggy Boot Camp
Ready to take things up a level? Buggy Boot Camp is the perfect next step. These small-group sessions help you build strength, increase fitness, and grow in confidence, all in a fun and supportive environment alongside other mums on a similar postnatal journey.

What to Expect at Your First Fit&Ness Class Starting exercise after having a baby can feel like a big step, but at Fit&Ness you'll find a friendly, supportive, and completely judgement-free environment from the moment you arrive. If you're feeling nervous, you're not alone. Most mums felt exactly the same before their first class. You don't need to be fit, confident, or experienced – just come as you are. 💜
Your Baby Is Always Welcome These classes are designed for mums, which means babies are always welcome too. Whether they're sleeping, watching, feeding, or needing a cuddle, that's all part of class life. You can stop at any time to feed, change, or comfort your baby – there's never any pressure.
A Safe and Supportive Workout Each class includes a warm-up, strength and fitness exercises, and a cool-down. Every activity can be adapted to suit your current postnatal recovery status and fitness level, helping you rebuild strength and confidence safely and gradually.
